Audiovisual Equipment Rental Guide - Faculty & Staff

Overview

The American College of Greece offers faculty and staff convenient access to a range of audiovisual (AV) equipment to support teaching, presentations, and campus events. Available items typically include projectors, laptops, microphones, speakers, cameras, and related accessories.

Equipment can be reserved in advance through the appropriate department or IT/AV Services office, ensuring that the tools you need are ready and in good working order when you need them. This service is designed to help faculty and staff deliver effective, professional presentations and events with minimal hassle.

Available Equipment

Commonly available items include:

  • Projectors and portable screens
  • Laptops
  • Cameras and video recording equipment
  • Related cables, adapters, and accessories

Availability may vary depending on demand and the specific location. Contact the Media Center in advance to confirm that the equipment you need is in stock for your requested dates.

Reservation Procedure

  1. Complete the IT Services “AV Request Form” at least 5 working days before the day the equipment is needed.
  2. Specify the equipment required, the date(s) and time(s) of use, and the pickup/return location.
  3. Wait for confirmation from IT/AV Services that the request has been approved and the equipment reserved.
  4. Pick up the equipment from the designated Media Center office on the day of use.
Last-minute requests are accommodated where possible but are not guaranteed. Submitting requests as early as possible helps ensure equipment availability.

Pickup and Return

  • Equipment is picked up from and returned to the corresponding Media Center office:
  • Media Center, Library Lower Level, Room 117
  • CN Building, Room 1105
  • A quick demonstration of the equipment's use will be given at checkout.
  • Equipment should be returned on time and in the condition in which it was received.

Borrower Responsibilities

  • Use equipment only as intended and take reasonable care to protect it from damage.
  • Return equipment on time and in the condition received.
  • For off-campus use, arrange safe transport and storage; never leave equipment unattended in vehicles or public spaces.
  • Use audiovisual equipment in strict compliance with ACG policies and applicable GDPR regulations, particularly when recording audio, video, or images that may include personal data.
